NORTHERN LIGHT THEATRE COMPANY presents
Jerry Herman and Michael Stewart's "Mack and Mabel"

Directed by Andrew Hawkins
Choreographed by Amber Platten
Musically Directed by Helen Loveday

This popular show charts the complex relationship between famous director, Mack Sennet (the man behind Charlie Chaplin, the Keystone Cops and the "pie in the face" gag) and his comedienne protege, Mabel Normand. In this production, the powerful Michael Bates portrays Mack - fresh from his leading role as Fiyero in the SA premiere of "Wicked" with Matt Byrne Media. The inimitable Jeri Williams plays Mabel - last appearing on Adelaide stages as Adelaide in The Gilbert and Sullivan Society's award-nominated "Guys and Dolls". We are thrilled to have Jeri back after she appeared in our award-winning production of "Into the Woods".

The cast is filled out by Northern regulars, Rebecca Mason, and Daniel Watkins. Each of these having portrayed roles for us in "Happy Days" and "White Christmas". Rounding out the cast is Ray Cullen who has appeared most recently in the award-nominated seasons of "Big Fish" with the Therry Dramatic Society and "Guys and Dolls" with The Gilbert and Sullivan Society.

Northern Light Theatre Company is thrilled to be presenting this show and, with this stellar combination of cast and production team, it is not to be missed.
